Preschool Screening

Kelsey had her preschool screening last week. She was really excited for it and even had to bring her backpack along when we went complete with books and her "homework". We talked a lot beforehand about how she needed to listen and follow directions. She must have been paying attention because she did great. She was very responsive and made me one proud mama. Being a teacher myself, there were a few times I wanted to interject with my own wording of a problem because I know how she and I had practiced those skills at home. Instead, when Kelsey would look at me with a confused look, I would give her a thumbs up and a big smile of encouragement as my role was to watch and listen. Overall, I couldn't have been more proud of her behavior and how she did. We just know that she is going to do great in preschool!

When we got home from the screening, Kelsey found a package on the front step for her. It was a cute new outfit direct from Great Aunt Evie and Great Uncle Dennis. Thank you! It is adorable!
