Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, and may I just say it was exactly what I hoped for--tons of family time, relaxing, playing, and not a ton of set plans. Ahhhhh.....the good life :) Highlights from Saturday and Sunday include cheering on our favorite coach at his game on Saturday, going to The Blast to get ice cream, setting up the swimming pool and watching the girls splash, grilling out, family game night, and church and breakfast out.
On Monday, we went to the annual parade and spent the remainder of the day at Dave and Vickie's where the kiddos played baseball and later we grilled out for lunch. I felt like we did a lot, but yet we didn't. Man oh man did the 3 day weekend make me even more anxious for summer break to arrive. I love teaching, but I am ready for some time away from school and more time with my favorite people :)
