Happy Halloween

What a Halloween it was this year. It definitely did not lack interest. The day began with getting a call from daycare that Megan needed to be picked up. She has had a cough on and off for awhile now and it seemed to culminate on Monday to the point that she needed to see the doctor. We found out she has an ear infection, but thankfully her lungs sounded clear. Kelsey stayed at daycare while I went to the doctor because she had a Halloween party. She was really excited to get to wear her costume. She picked it out this year and decided she wanted to be Tinkerbell. As Halloween neared though she referred to herself as Silvermist, another fairy from the Tinkerbell series. Our daycare provider rocks and fed Kelsey supper so once I picked her up we were set for trick or treating. The only kicker was that I started to not feel well. I actually felt so sick that Matt took Kelsey trick or treating by himeself. Boo :( Megan stayed with Uncle Nate, Aunt Diane and Grandpa so I could rest. Oh, and I should mention that she was the cutest darn cow that we ever did see. I mean, there is only a short window of time when a girl can dress as a cow and it is cute, right? Thank goodness that my illness was short-lived and I was better in the morning. I was quite bummed though that I missed out on all the fun. But Kelsey had enough fun for both of us. And Megan, what can I say? Ear infection or not, the kid is amazing. Such a happy girl. We love our fairy and cow :)
