State Legion Baseball Tournament

Matt's legion team made the state baseball tournament! They have not played in the tournament for the past 55 years, so it was long overdue! What a great accomplishment for Mattey, the team, and Owatonna! The games were played in Hibbing, so we made the 4 hour drive there on Wednesday night. Mattey was pretty busy with meetings, games, and taking care of his team. However, there was some down time that we were able to spend together as a family.

Friday was our anniversary and we ate breakfast at a local cafe called Sportsmans. It was a cute little place and had really good food! Later that day we stopped in Cloquet on the way home and had ice cream at a place called Gordy's. Sorry no pictures:( I was forgetful (or just too tired) and didn't take any.

Matt's team won one out of three games and represented Owatonna well. It was a great experience! Hopefully it is not another 55 years before they go back!
