Kelsey had her first experience at the circus yesterday. Matt had practice, so we decided to have some Kelsey and Mommy quality time. Stacey and the boys met us there, too. I have to say, it was...interesting. They had lions and tigers, jugglers, a contortionist, acrobats, camels, and elephants. The actual acts were ok. I kept waiting for more to happen though. The part that got really annoying was how they tried to sell us something every five minutes. Literally, the announcer would say, "We have coloring books. Raise your hand if you want one." This went on with peanuts, snow cones, light up toys, you name it. Maybe this is how the circus is, I just wasn't prepared for that. I am not sure Kelsey got much out of it, but we spent some time together, got to see her cousins, and we can say we were at the circus.
