Time for Easter

On Saturday morning, Kelsey went to meet the Easter bunny. If you remember back to Christmas, meeting Santa did not go so well. However, Kelsey did great! She sat on the Easter bunny's lap and sat well for a picture. She did not smile, but there were no tears, so we'll take it as a step in the right direction.

On Sunday we celebrated Easter with Matt's side. We started off going to church together. (Side note: Our growing family now requires two pews when we are all there!)
Following mass, Matt's parents treated us to a yummy brunch. We all left full and ready for a fun afternoon. We went to Matt and Stacey's to continue the festivities. Once there, Grandma made bunny masks with the kids to get in the Easter spirit. Next came decorating eggs. Kelsey only remained interested for a short time, but we did manage to decorate a few eggs. She was more interested in watching what everyone else was doing.

Finally, the kids had an Easter egg hunt. Kelsey only needed a little help in figuring out what to do and she quickly caught on. She was on the lookout for eggs. Thankfully, all the boys were very good about sharing eggs with Kelsey and helping her find them.

Here is Kelsey checking out the goodies she found in her eggs. Some of the eggs had change in them, and when the kids were all emptying the eggs, Kelsey kept sneaking any money the boys had out and putting it in her basket. Sorry boys! Kelsey owes you!
